Yum Wash MF is a dedicated microfibre wash detergent designed to clean and restore the performance of detailing towels, wash pads and microfibre accessories. It helps remove product residue, dirt and oils so towels stay absorbent, soft and safe for paint.
Features & Benefits
- Dedicated detergent for microfibre towels and wash pads
- Helps remove polish, wax, sealant and detailing residue
- Maintains towel softness and absorbency
- Ideal for drying towels, glass towels, interior towels and wash pads
- Important for reducing towel-induced marring
Yum Wash MF is one of the most important support products in the range because your towels are only safe if they are clean. Microfibre that is clogged with old sealant, dirt, oils or fabric softener residue can lose absorbency and become less safe on paint.
A dedicated microfibre detergent is different from normal laundry detergent. It is designed to clean fibres without leaving softeners or residues that reduce performance. This helps drying towels absorb properly, glass towels finish cleaner and paint towels stay softer.
Use it for towels used with Yum Detailer, Yum Ceramic, Yum Glass, Yum Interior, Yum Wheels and other detailing products. Keeping towel types separated by task will further reduce cross-contamination.
Clean towels are a core part of safe detailing, especially when drying, rinseless washing or coating removal.
Recommended YumCars pairings:
Yum Detailer
Yum Glass
Yum Rinse-Less
Yum Ceramic
Pro Tip
Never wash coating removal towels with your best drying towels. Keep high-risk towels separate so hardened residues or strong chemicals do not contaminate paint-safe microfibre.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use normal laundry detergent?
A dedicated microfibre wash is better because it avoids softeners and residues that can reduce towel performance.
Should wheel towels be washed separately?
Yes. Wheel and tyre towels should be kept separate from paint, glass and drying towels.
- Separate towels by use before washing. Keep wheel, tyre and engine bay towels away from paint and glass towels.
- Shake out loose debris and pre-rinse heavily soiled towels if required.
- Add Yum Wash MF to the washing machine according to load size.
- Wash on a warm, microfibre-safe cycle without fabric softener or bleach.
- Run an extra rinse if towels have heavy product residue.
- Air dry or tumble dry on low heat only if the towel manufacturer allows it.
- Store clean towels in sealed containers or bags to keep dust away.
