Mirka Polarshine E3 Glass Polishing Compound is a specialist glass polishing compound designed to remove light scratches, marks and surface imperfections from a wide range of glass surfaces. It is suitable for both standard window glass and hardened automotive glass, making it an excellent choice for automotive detailing, glass restoration and professional polishing applications.
Its silicone-free formulation is designed to permanently remove surface marks rather than simply masking them, while helping restore a smooth, clear and distortion-free finish. Polarshine E3 is particularly well suited to machine polishing with a felt polishing pad and can be used with both rotary and dual action polishers.

Recommended Equipment
For best results, use Mirka Polarshine E3 with a suitable felt glass polishing pad and a compatible rotary or dual action polisher. The combination provides controlled mechanical polishing for effective removal of surface marks and restoration of glass clarity.
Important: Always inspect the condition and type of glass before polishing. Deep scratches, chips, cracks or damage extending significantly into the glass may not be suitable for correction with a polishing compound and may require professional glass repair or replacement.
Mirka Polarshine E3 provides a dedicated solution for restoring glass clarity and removing surface imperfections, making it an ideal addition to professional automotive detailing, glass restoration and workshop polishing systems.
- Clean the glass: Thoroughly wash and clean the glass to remove dirt, dust, traffic film and other contamination. The surface must be clean before polishing.
- Inspect the glass: Identify the scratches, marks or imperfections that need to be corrected. Polarshine E3 is intended for surface polishing and light-to-moderate marks rather than deep damage.
- Prepare the polishing pad: Fit a suitable Mirka felt polishing pad to your rotary or dual action polisher.
- Apply the compound: Apply a small amount of Polarshine E3 to the polishing pad. Avoid applying excessive product.
- Polish the affected area: Work the compound over the glass using controlled, overlapping passes. Keep the pad moving and avoid concentrating excessive heat in one area.
- Monitor your progress: Regularly stop and inspect the glass. Repeat the polishing process as required until the surface marks have been sufficiently reduced or removed.
- Clean the glass: Once polishing is complete, wipe away any remaining compound residue with a clean glass-safe microfibre towel.
- Final inspection: Check the glass from different angles and under suitable lighting to confirm that the desired clarity and finish have been achieved.
