Mirka Abralon Glass Polishing Kit 77mm

Mirka Abranet/Abralon Glass Polishing Kit is a complete professional glass restoration system designed to remove scratches, refine the surface and restore clarity to damaged glass.

The kit combines Mirka Abranet SIC NS abrasives, Abralon finishing abrasives, Polarshine E3 glass polishing compound and felt polishing pads into a comprehensive three-stage process.

Designed for use on tempered and non-tempered glass, the kit is suitable for a wide range of architectural, commercial, marine and automotive glass restoration applications. The 77mm abrasive discs can be used with compatible random orbital or rotary machines, making the system particularly useful when repairing localised scratches and damaged areas.

The complete system is designed to progressively remove the defect, refine the sanding marks and then polish the glass to restore a smooth, clear finish. The included abrasives provide enough material to treat up to approximately 1m² of glass, depending on the severity of the damage and the technique used.

Machine Compatibility

The 77mm discs are designed for use with compatible 77mm random orbital or rotary sanding equipment. A suitable backing pad with a compatible grip attachment is required.

The compact 77mm format is particularly useful for targeted glass repairs where a smaller polishing system provides greater control around localised defects.

Important Safety & Application Information

Not recommended for use on automotive windscreens. Glass correction can alter the optical properties of a windscreen if material is removed unevenly, potentially creating distortion or refraction that can affect visibility.

For best results, work slowly and methodically through the complete abrasive sequence. Allow sufficient time at each grit to fully remove the previous sanding pattern before progressing to the next grade. Deep scratches or damage extending significantly into the glass may require professional assessment or replacement rather than conventional polishing.
