The new Mint Protools ROD (Random Orbital Design) Green Cutting Pad is a 150mm foam cutting pad designed to remove heavy to medium surface marks such as swirls, holograms, and marring.
This pad suits all all large throw Random Orbital Dual Action Polishers such as the RUPES Bigfoot LHR15, Mint ProTools DT15, DAS6 or DAS6 Pro Polishers.
Product Features and Benefits:
- Premium quality green cutting pad
- Advanced foam technology for superior cutting performance
- Efficiently removes heavy swirls, scratches, and oxidation
- Enhances clarity and depth of the finish
- Compatible with a wide range of cutting compounds
- Designed for durability and extended use
All Mint RDO Pads have been designed with tapered finish with a 150mm face and a 125mm velcro back to provide better control, stability and balance while polishing. Combined with a center hole to provide up to 10% cooler running during the polishing & correction process. This offers better heat dispersal to provide longer life and durability for the pads.
For best results, we recommend using this ROD 150mm Green Cut Pad in conjunction with a quality correction polishing compound such as Menzerna HC400 or Gyeon Quartz Compound to remove paint defects such as marring, swirls and other imperfections including wet sanding marks up to 2000.
It is recommended to follow with a polishing and finishing pad with lesser polish to ensure you achieve an optimal finish.

Apply a small amount of your preferred cutting compound or product onto the Mint ProTools ROD Green Cutting Pad. You can use a polishing machine or apply it manually depending on your preference.
Step 3: Spread the Compound
Spread the cutting compound evenly on the surface using the Mint ProTools ROD Green Cutting Pad. Make sure to cover the entire area you want to work on.
