Step 1: Disassemble the Snow Foam Lance
Before using the service kit, disassemble your snow foam lance. This typically involves unscrewing the nozzle, lance, and bottle from each other. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for specific details on how to disassemble your particular snow foam lance.
Step 2: Clean the Snow Foam Lance Parts
Once you have disassembled the snow foam lance, use the included cleaning solution and brushes to thoroughly clean each part. Make sure to remove any dirt, grime, or residue that has built up on the parts.
Step 3: Rinse the Parts with Water
After cleaning the parts, rinse them with water to remove any remaining cleaning solution or debris.
Step 4: Lubricate the O-Rings
The PA / Autobrite Snow Foam Lance Service Kit comes with lubricant that you can use to lubricate the O-rings on the snow foam lance. Apply a small amount of lubricant to each O-ring to ensure that it functions properly.
Step 5: Reassemble the Snow Foam Lance
Once you have cleaned and lubricated the parts, reassemble the snow foam lance in the reverse order of how you disassembled it. Make sure that each part is tightened securely, but not too tight.
Step 6: Test the Snow Foam Lance
After reassembling the snow foam lance, test it to ensure that it is working properly. Attach the snow foam lance to your pressure washer and try spraying some foam onto your car or other surface. If the foam is coming out evenly and at the right consistency, then the snow foam lance is working properly.
