Q² Primer is an ultra-light finish and SiO₂ primer. It provides superb pre-coating surface preparation and an incredibly glossy finish. Its main aim is to perfect the finish on the paints which are hardest to work with, dramatically reducing the risk of scratch marks during the final wipe off before coating. Q² Primer leaves a smooth and slick surface, ready to coat.

Q² Primer is a unique formula preparing the paint’s surface before coating without the need for any product removal. It will provide incredible gloss and a clear, high-quality finish, ready to be coated with any quartz coating.
Q² Primer is so much more than just a light, finishing polish. Its unique SiO2 infused formula prepares the paint before coating application, making product transfer smooth and easy. It doesn’t require an additional washing step after use, only time or Q²M Prep wipe. Work with minimum revs and medium pressure on an eccentric machine. I recommend the use of our Q²M Eccentric Finish pad to use with Q² Primer. Always inspect the panel once completed.
Step 1: Clean the Surface
Clean the surface thoroughly using Gyeon Q2M Iron, Gyeon Q2M Tar or Gyeon Q2M Prep to remove any contaminants, and then wash the car with a quality shampoo. Make sure the surface is dry before applying Gyeon Q2M Primer.
Step 2: Apply Gyeon Q2M Primer
Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a small amount of Gyeon Q2M Primer onto a Gyeon Suede microfiber towel or a foam applicator pad. Work the product into the surface in a circular motion, making sure to cover the entire surface.
Step 3: Remove Excess Product
Using a clean and dry Gyeon microfiber towel, remove any excess product immediately after application. Make sure to remove all excess product, especially from edges, badges and joints.
Step 4: Let Cure
Allow Gyeon Q2M Primer to cure for at least 30 minutes before applying a Gyeon Q2M Prep as a pre-coating step. Do not let the product dry on the surface for more than 30 minutes.
