Nanolex Rim Sealant is a high technology coating especially for wheels to protect them and make them easier to clean.
The Nanotechnology is designed to coat the wheel surface with a durable layer that will help repel brake dust and dirt, making it much harder for these contaminants to adhere to the actual wheel. This will then allow the rim to be cleaned much more easily, with the weaker bonds of the brake dust being broken with just a pressure washer or standard pH balanced wash shampoo.
Harsh wheel cleaners and scrubbing will no longer be required and cleaning time for rims will be dramatically reduced.
Unlike wheel waxes this advanced chemical sealant will not wash off, it is designed to repel water, dirt, oils and other pollutants that usually stick to your rims. And it will not simply ‘melt’ like other wheel products from the substantial heat generated by your brakes. In fact depending on driving conditions it can last for 6 months
This kit contains:
1 x Nanolex Cleaner 125ml
1 x Nanolex Rim Sealant 50ml
1 x Microfibre Cloth for Cleaner
1 x Foam Applicator Pad for Sealant
1 x Microfibre Cloth for Sealant
50ml of Nanolex Sealant should coat a set of four average 18" rims approximately 3-4 times
For best results:
Clean wheels very thoroughly before to remove dirt, brake dust and contamination, and dry wheels well.
Always work on just 1 wheel at a time. Firstly spray over the Nanolex Cleaner and wipe over all the areas of the rim to be coated. Next take the applicator and apply a few drops of Nanolex Sealant, wipe this over the surface ensuring 100% coverage – then take the microfibre cloth and buff off the residue to a shiny finish within 20 minutes of application. Allow sealant to cure for a minimum of 2 hours before driving or getting wet.
Do NOT leave the Sealant on the rims for more than 20 minutes otherwise it will be very hard to remove. It is sometimes easier to apply/buff off on half of the wheel at a time. Always apply to a cool surface and work in the shade/undercover.
Nanolex Rim Sealant is safe for most wheel types including painted, clear coated, chromed, spoked and can be used on the inner rims as well as the wheel face. Always try on a small hidden section to ensure compatibility.

I must say I had some misgivings about buying this product at first but I have been very impressed with the product since applying it. I had previously used Swissvax Autobahn but this product does perform better. I took Mike and Pierre's advice and removed each wheel, coating both the inside and outside of the wheel. Whilst this took a lot of effort, it was definitely worth it as now my wheels only need a quick squirt with the pressure washer to be completely clean. They also now resist dusting up much more than untreated wheels meaning a lot less number of washes..highly recommended!!
