The Orange Lake Country CCS Light Cut pad is firm, it will cut through moderate surface marks and swirls. This pad works well on medium oxidation and pitted finishes, and will remove most wet sanding scratches with a heavy polish or compound. This level of cutting / polishing usually needs to be followed by a polishing or finishing pad with a lesser polish, always on dark colours. It is a good all-round pad that is capable of removing moderate imperfections.
Lake Country has improved upon the basic pad design with CCS technology, which actually slows the rate of product absorption and saves polish. This can increase the working time of the polish to give excellent results, and stop the pad/polish drying out as fast. The CCS pockets in the pad face also reduce surface tension to decrease heat and sticking / skipping that can occur.
Suits both Rotary and Random Orbital (Dual Action) machines, attaches via the Velcro back
