This Backing Plate is an addition to the Festool range and especially designed for automotive polishing with the Festool Rotex.

The standard Rotex backing plate is designed for multi use incorporating sanding, it features a bevelled lip and extraction hole vents to suit both sanding discs and pads.

This Polishing Backing Plate locks easily onto the Rotex machine and offers a slimmer profile of high density foam to optimise pressure distribution during polishing and long life Velcro to provide ultimate grip for polishing pads.

This genuine Festool part can directly replace the standard plate that comes with the machine.
