The Festool Rotex offers the best of both worlds in a polisher, having the ability to switch easily between random orbital/dual action and a forced rotation. It is the top of the range of the Festool polishing line and ideal for the extreme enthusiast who wants the best, or a professional detailer as a quality work tool.
This Festool Rotex can start in a forced eccentric rotation mode for heavy cutting and polishing to remove major imperfections and then with a flick of a switch change to an random orbital motion for providing a perfect finish. Light to use at just over 2kg and perfectly balanced, this tool provides results without the effort. The softgrip handle and ergonomic dome grip allow for all day operation without fatigue.
The Rotex is perfectly suited to all 6" and 6.5" buffing pads especially the Festool 6" Pads

The Rotex can also be supplied in a Festool carrying box called a ‘systainer’, a genuine Festool product that is designed for storing and carrying your machine. Please note that the power lead for the regular Rotex is a Fixed Lead into the machine and the power lead for the Rotex in the systainer is the Plug-It Lead. See below for the options.
This Festool power tool comes with a 1+2 guarantee. The standard 1 year warranty is extended by 2 years to a total of 3 years simply by completing the warranty form that comes with the tool and returning it to FESTOOL within 30 days of the date of purchase. You will receive a warranty registration certificate that will cover repairs, parts and labour, should the tool require them, for 3 years from the date of purchase for your power tool. We recommend that you keep your purchase receipt to include with a warranty claim should you ever need one.
