This Festool Backing Plate is excellent quality and designed to fit a standard M14 thread on Rotary Polishers.

Ideally suited to the Festool RAP150 Shinex to give superior polishing results every time.

This backing plate has a thick 25mm foam cushion for optimised pressure distribution when polishing, this allows for more even results especially over contoured areas. It is perfectly paired with Festool’s range of 150mm / 6" pads, allowing a small recess to protect the surface from the edge of the pad and plate.
